Project Overview

The Client’s Request

PyfPoint Racing set out to create a coloring book designed to introduce kids to the excitement of sim racing and motorsport in a way that feels fun, accessible, and inspiring. The goal was to spark curiosity, encourage creativity, and help young fans feel connected to racing culture while celebrating the joy of learning through play.

The project needed to balance high-energy motorsport themes with age-appropriate illustration, creating pages that felt exciting without being overwhelming. It was important that the visuals invited kids into the world of racing while still feeling approachable for beginners and families new to the sport.

My Process

This project was built around the idea that early exposure can shape lifelong passions. I focused on translating the thrill of racing into clean, engaging linework that encourages imagination and hands-on interaction. Each concept was designed to highlight movement, vehicles, and racing elements in a way that feels dynamic while remaining easy and enjoyable for kids to color.

The cover art was developed to feel bold and energetic, instantly communicating speed, excitement, and fun. For the interior pages, I approached each illustration with the intention of storytelling, allowing kids to imagine themselves in the driver’s seat, on the track, or part of a racing team.

At this stage, the interior pages are still in development while we await finalization and approval. This may include official Formula 1 licensing, which will influence specific details and elements within the book. Once approvals are complete, the remaining illustrations will be finalized to align seamlessly with the overall vision and any licensed requirements.
