My 3-Phase Collaborative Design Process

This process is the foundation of every project I take on. It provides structure, clarity, and flow—while leaving plenty of room for creativity, flexibility, and fun.

While every project follows these core phases, no two are exactly alike. Each brand I work on has its own pace, energy, and evolution. This is a collaborative journey, and your feedback, insight, and ideas are not only welcome—they're essential. You're investing in a visual identity that represents you, and that means your voice matters every step of the way.

Phase One: Discovery & Direction

We begin with a creative deep dive to align on your goals, vision, and brand identity.

  • At the time of purchase, you’ll complete an intake form and select your discovery call date—this locks in your spot on my calendar.

  • You’ll receive a welcome email with all next steps, including your contract and intro materials. (No work begins until the contract is signed.)

  • Based on your intake and any inspiration you share, I’ll build a collaborative Miro board with moodboards, early sketches, color exploration, brand “do’s and don’ts,” and initial creative direction.

During our Zoom call, we’ll review the Miro board and discuss:

  • Brand tone, goals, and creative direction

  • Your platform presence and social media strategy (existing or upcoming)

  • Any add-ons or upgrades to your selected package

  • Final alignment before heading into design

This phase sets the foundation for everything ahead—blending strategy, visual language, and shared vision.

Phase Two: Design & Refinement

With the direction locked in, I’ll begin crafting your full brand identity.

  • Logo development, color palette, typography, and any included assets begin taking shape

  • You’ll have access to your evolving Miro board, where you can watch the creative process unfold and provide feedback

  • We’ll keep communication open via email to ensure we're always aligned

You’ll receive:

  • Preview concepts for review

  • Up to two formal revision rounds (major redirections will be clearly communicated as revisions)

This phase is where your brand comes to life—refined, intentional, and uniquely yours.

Phase Three: Finalization & Delivery

  • I’ll begin creating your included social media graphics or branded content—like profile images, banners, highlight icons, or templates for creators and small businesses

  • If you’re on the Elite package, this is when your website design phase begins

  • All final brand assets are organized, formatted, and prepared for delivery across digital and print

Once approved, you’ll receive:

  • Final files (SVG, PNG, PDF, etc.)

  • A completed brand guide within your Miro board—detailing logo use, color codes, font pairings, visual mockups, and more

  • All custom content graphics, templates, or merch-ready files included in your package

You’ll leave with a brand that feels aligned, supported by strategy, and ready to show up across every platform.

  • Not at all. Whether you're just getting started or refining an existing brand, we’ll meet you where you’re at. I’ve worked with clients launching from scratch and others rebranding after years of growth. Either way, the goal is to give you clarity, cohesion, and confidence.

  • No- full payment is required upfront to reserve your place in my calendar and ensure your project gets my full creative focus and attention from day one. This helps me stay organized, deliver on time, and give every client—including you—the dedicated experience they deserve.

  • Timelines vary based on the scope, but most branding projects take 2–4 weeks from start to finish. I’ll give you a clear timeline once we chat and kick things off.

  • Rush projects are available for an additional +20% rush fee, depending on my schedule availability.
    Please mention any rush requests during your consultation so we can discuss feasibility and timelines.

  • While each package is structured for clarity, they aren’t one-size-fits-all. During your discovery call, we can adjust things—whether that means swapping deliverables, adding extra assets, or tailoring the scope to better fit your goals. I’ll offer recommendations based on your vision, and any changes will be invoiced separately.

    Need something down the road? You can request additional services for up to 18 months after your project wraps—whether it’s a content refresh, new templates, merch design, or a website update. No need to start from scratch—just reach out when you’re ready.

  • It depends on the situation! If you already have a logo or brand elements that you want to keep unchanged, feel free to reach out and we can chat about how (or if) I can build on them. I’ll always make sure we’re working within the proper usage and ownership guidelines.
